This is an excellent guide for the male with penile dysfunction. It gives insight to what Viagra can do, as well as alternative procedures available. The illustrations are precise, and easy for the layman to understand. I highly recommend it for anyone (male or female) with this highly sensitive and personal disorder. Dr. Newman deserves highest accolades for writing this timely book.

A must-have book that is very comprehensive but easy to read, March 4, 1999

This book is excellent and is a must-have for anyone who is suffering from sexual dysfunction. It is very well written and very easy to read. The two things that I think make this book so great are that #1-It seems very thorough and up-to-date and includes everything you could possibly want to know about sexual dysfunction, and #2-It is very well written and easy to read! There is a good table of contents as well as a good index for quick reference, but there is also a “plain-talk summary” after each chapter where Dr. Newman summarizes the chapter in very simple terms. This makes it very easy to read! Sure the book talks about viagra, but it is much more than that. Dr. Newman begins by discussing both the anatomy and physiology of the male and female sexual response and then devotes one chapter to each of the many different sexual problems that one may encounter – going into great depth but using a writting style that is easy to understand. I’d recommend this book for any couple who wants to know more about what problems they may have, why these problems arise, and what the different treatment options are.
